I'm sure we all like to do our bit for the environment, so even better when a touch of retail therapy lets you do just that.
An innovative shopping mall in Sweden is stocked entirely with second hand and up-cycled goods. The mall is conveniently located next to a recycling centre where a team organises the unwanted items into categories. The tenants of the mall can then select items to up-cycle and sell in their shops.
Up-cycling and vintage shopping has been quite on-trend in recent years, but this takes the saying "one man's trash is another man's treasure" to a new level.
Could sustainable shopping on this scale catch on in the UK and be the new future of retail?
