A dizzying set of statistics from Hotel Management. Of the United Kingdom's 38,590 rooms in development, over a third (13,516 rooms) are in London. Contrast that for a moment with the whole of Poland (14,958 rooms), Portugal (10,206 rooms) and Italy (omitted from the report, but according to data from Horwath HTL in 2018, there are around 12,000 rooms in development in Italy, including rebrands).
And neither the United Kingdom nor the London stats are even a record...
